Bad day…../ladywell fun day

Ok so here it is im on the beer after a bad day. I wanted to come home today and post lots of nice pictures from ladywell fields fun day which was in aid of the quercus project thing being copmpleted. (will add links later) but things went a little wrong.

So i will start with the good.
If you look very carefully you will see our wonderful mayor bullock ....hint...all in black

Ladywell fields fun day, dragged my family there looking forward to it despite the heat. There  wasnt a great deal there but lots of people had fun and the paople that count got their publicity shots.

I even got to see the mayor bringing the total up to three times now …although havent had the bottle to go and tell him i think lewisham sucks. hee hee.

Ok now thats the good bit and now (geting emotional) After the fun of inflatables and candy floss and of course seeing mayor bullock we sat on the grass with my kiddies and my hound. The hound, Henry is the important factor here after anly walking to ladywell and 10 minutes of ball play at most he was tired sp after attempting to get him in the river to coll him down we decided to get him home.

Im rather proud of being a responsible dog owner and came out complete with poo bags water and weater bowl aswellas ball and thrower. The only reason i let the dog come was because we thought he would stay cool in the river.

So peoples rections when he  was wheezing then when his mouth started pouring with blood was shocking how they looked. One plus was a man with a fresh bottle of water, who appeared while i was waiting fpr a car to get us to the vets, stopped and asked if we were ok so i waffled a bit but he helped pour water into my dogs mouth and would nt take any money for the water so if anyone kniows him send my thanks. So back to my poor little Henry we rushed him to the vets in thamesmead who immeadiately got him on 100% oxygen and dont really know whats wrong with him.

he is still there now under sedation and on the 02 and has been given loads of drugs to make sure he doesnt go into shock and he now has regained some colour ….his tongue went blue through lack of oxygen and its all a bit of a mystery. Could be weather related but they are also looking into whether he has a heart problem. Henry is the most stupid(said in a loveable way) docule friendly dog ever and doesnt desrve to be ill so im keeping my fingers crossed that all will be well and i can go get him tomorrow. Knowing that he could have very early died today was a big shock and im missing him dreadfully as im always with him. But big thanks to PDSA for taking care of him.
henry and jess

And to top the day of two of my boys have come out in chicken pox ….so looks like little sleep for me over the next week……miserable f**ker arent i!

Bloody hell, I don’t usually ‘do’ emotions for animals (me being a horrible person and all that), but, Kate, you’ve put a rather large lump in my throat tonight – hope all goes well!

Jeez, it’s worse, I missed that last sentence – but they will all be fine in a day or two!
