This sign made me laugh, the council kicked all these people out of their homes to make way for more smaller flats and its suposed to benefit people, i dont think so. The only people in my opinion to benefit are the developers.

you’re not cynical Kate, thats a perfectly honest assessment of all the sorry ‘developments’ going on in and around Lewisham. I hope the new swimming pool is a great success, if and when it happens. Getting in to it might be another matter altogether.

I feel strongly about it as i know the last person left there before it was knocked down, the council do not understand how it affect peoples lives through money making deals with big developers. I honestly feel they dont care what people in the borough think regarding lewisham gateway or the swimming pool situation and probably next with the developements in Catford among other things.
People in Lewisham must be thought of as just putting up with it.
