Ok so i havent been the best blogger for posting or visiting …..but think i will just give a little update. So whats changed ? Not a lot. But ive had a much better year so far than the last couple.
This year for the first time ever i left my kids for a weekend , yes a whole weekend(and they survived without me!) and i went to northern ireland with 20 girls i dont know (from a forum i go on) and we had a great time. Absolutely brilliant time actually!
The picture in my header is from my recent trip and is of Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge …..which i crossed and although the scenery was stunning i dont know why people are so scared of crossing this bridge. The weather forecast was bad …luckily the weather people got it totally wrong and it was clear enough to see scotland. We also went to the giants causeway andi was surprised by how small it was. Still a lovely place to be.
Other things ,my youngest son has got his statement of educational needs(will find link later) and despite being told we wouldnt get it and that we wold have to appeal we applied ….filed lots of reports ….and hey presto my son will get 18 hours of help. I am happyand relieved that that is one less thing to worry about. My older son is back in mainstream school and is doing better than expected but we still have many hurdles to cross such as applying for a statement for him and then in september looking at secondary schools.
The New house is just brilliant and the kids have settled in brilliantly….am now hoping and praying that we can get to stay here for a while. My boys attend a special needs swimming club and have both just reached level 2 and level 4 in swimming so im very proud of them.
So far this year we have been out loads ,Howlettes zoo, Whipsnade zoo, Brighton, Ramsgate, Herne bay, and ive even managed the cinema with all the kids. I dont know if its just the change of house but life seems better…so much better. Even though my health isnt great and there are still plenty of things to worry about ….maybe its just knowing i can get into a bed every night. Well if anyone stops by hope i havent bored you too much.
Im not going to promise to blog regular but who knows i might…… and there will be NO crusading about housing.
OK so not really house pictures but its the garden…..the long awaited garden lol.
Right so firstly so great to hear from you all. And thanks for comments i was surprised how many of you did.
so i moved, just about clinging in to lewisham borough….although not a tenant of the council…..woohoo. As i mentioned Ive not moved a million miles away but the difference is huge.It is so quiet that now if i hear a noise I’m scared. The only siren Ive heard is from a fire station which i didn’t even know existed. I have seen one police car and the only thing even resembling anything like the trouble in lewisham is at the library where a few kids with nothing better to do try and ruin things for others.
Its still very weird having a bedroom and knowing that the kids are all in bedrooms….even having a dining area…..shock horror.ha ha.
I can say that i dont ever want to move again, but i only have a years contract so might not have much sayin that
The only downsides and I’m not moaning….is that there is dog mess everywhere……and no street cleaners.
Here’s to a lovely house where we will have a fantastic Christmas.
Not another blog…im no longer living in slum central.Yep Kate is out of the ghetto. Its really rather strange living somewhere so quiet. Anyway just a short post to explain why im not about will post proper soon.
Anyone see Jonathon Ross last night? If not you can see it here . well i actually enjoyed the show and if they are ever thinking of making a bond film in lewisham we have the smelly bins here ,the wannabe gangsters and well thats it really.
I got this from Nunyaa’s blog. Now it surprised me a bit then again i dont think i could vote labour in the future…..even though browns grown some balls over iceland, throwing the word “hero” about is way too strong. lol.

CONSERVATIVES tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently
support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates “traditional
values.” They oppose excessive government control of business,
while endorsing government action to defend morality and the
traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong
military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market
economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.
…..Has its drawbacks. Im not complaining honest ……but its brought the trouble makers out again. Theres been few things going on again and as i was threatening some kids that if i caught them doing what they were doing again i will call the police…..i also told them to tell their mother what i said then max walks past.
And the next day some kids were outside my door throwing wheelie bins downstairs…..and possibly going down with them. Why would you want to play with a mouldy smelly bin? I think this just proves totally that there is nothing for kids to do.
On a better note i got my new wheelie bin….yey!!!!!
This picture doesnt have any squirrals in it but i thought it was a lovely colour. This tree hangs over someones back wall over the river quaggy just by little manor park.
….Was actually quite nice. We walked as always through ladywell fields and as soon as we went over the first bridge into the park we saw a hugh sunflower next to the big bend in the river. The kids saw a squirral which decided to do somelovely poses for us…..which the kids loved.
On the way home on the way out of ladywell fields i instsantly noticed the window on the church all lit up. shows you just how sunny it is today.
Just found This story …..
Campaigners for a “balanced migration” policy welcomed hints from the Government’s new immigration minister that he may seek limits on the number of migrants coming into Britain.
Things really are too much and we need to sort out the mess this country is in NOW. And i think that means curbing immigration untill we can account for people that are already here. I went into macdonalds yesterday and i dont think there was a member of staff that spoke english as a first language . The girl that served me was Hoa and couldnt even grasp the basics so how on earth did she land a job? And ok i know macds isnt a dream job but still you can see my point.
Hi everyone, have been realbusy lately. My eldest son has startedhis new school and settled in so well…..which is a great releif. He iseager to be in school and do well. The school is massive and i was worried about how he was going to cope but the staff and the kids have been really great and its amazing how much different it is from his other school.
Im currently homeschooling my second son , the one with autism and adhd. So much going on with him but he is better of at home with me ! And its so much easier to plan things to do than with a 14 year old.
I have a renal tract scan in two weeks …has anyone had one of these? im a complete coward and would love to know what to expect before the event.
And again i would like to thankthose of you that continue coming by even though ioffer very little content.
